P4-P7 Gymfest

Gymfest Sign-Up

We are pleased to offer a Riverside Gymfest After-School Club for pupils in P4-P7.

Gymfest is a gymnastics and dance showcase where pupils work together to learn and perform a group routine. Sessions will take place at Riverside every Wednesday from 3.00pm to 4.00pm, starting on 30 September and running until 18 November, with a two-week break during the October holidays.

As this is a short programme leading up to a final performance, it is important that pupils can attend all sessions to learn the routine and take part in the showcase.

The club will be led by Elsie Dimmock, Modern Apprentice, alongside a senior pupil from Perth Grammar School who attends Musical Theatre classes. This year's performance theme is Matilda the Musical.

The Gymfest Showcase will take place on Friday 20 November at UHI Perth, where pupils will perform their routine alongside groups from other schools in front of an audience of pupils and staff.

If your child would like to be considered for a place, please complete the form using the link below. Places are limited and, if oversubscribed, selection will take account of pupils' participation in sport, experience and recent behaviour in school. If there are still more applicants than places available, pupils will be selected at random within each year group from those who have expressed an interest.

We are looking forward to working together to create an exciting and memorable performance!

Places will be confirmed by email on Tuesday 29 September.
